I started Wellness For The Win in May of 2015 somewhat on a whim, and wasn’t exactly sure where I wanted to go with it at the time. I just knew I wanted to help others, spread the healthy word and most of all, talk about my favorite thing: food. I began by posting health-related articles — such as My Top Ten Tips For Eating Out and Don’t Let Your Weight Define You — each accompanied by a healthy recipe. Here I am a few years later, and my blog has grown so much, so I am constantly in a state of trying to improve and update some of my old content to make my site more user-friendly for you; AKA provide unique links for every single recipe, rather than scrolling through 30 recipes on one page. I didn’t exactly think that through when I first started, so please bear with me as I make these updates.
Even though things have changed a little over the years, I try to make it a point to consistently share helpful tips (and some humor) with you all throughout my blog posts and on my Instagram @wellnessforthewin to help you on your everyday journey to better overall wellness.
I created this specific page to make it easier to navigate through some of my past articles that you may find helpful or interesting. Please see the links below and read through some of the posts for useful health information as well as some very personal stories about my own journey struggling with skin issues, body image, digestive health, and more. Some of the articles that I wrote back when I first started my blog, or even a year ago, I may not necessarily love or 100% agree with anymore; however, I have decided that I’m not going to edit or delete any of them because they are all an important piece of how I got here today, and allowed me to grow and improve as a dietitian and a writer.
