As you may or may not already know, I got my first lash lift + tint at Bare Med Spa in Park Place Leawood last week and I’m pretty much obsessed. I got lots of questions when I posted about it in my stories, so I wanted to give you all the details in this post, including before & after pictures, price, how long it lasts, what you can expect, and more!
My esthetician for this service was Tiffany, and she is the only one at the Park Place Bare Med Spa location who is currently certified to perform the lash lift/tint.

Lash Lift + Tint Service
In total, this service took about an hour or less, and the process is pain-free! Tiffany does a great job of explaining what she is doing, why, and making you feel at ease throughout the treatment.

The treatment is slightly uncomfortable at times because you can’t open your eyes throughout most of it, so don’t go in expecting it to be quite as relaxing as a facial. However, it is still very much worth it! First, she does the lash lift portion, which consists of gluing a rod of some sort to your lid, and you have to let it sit for about 10 minutes or so. Next, she rinses with some water to remove the rods, and then does the tint, by painting on some dye. Again, you have to keep your eyes closed for another 10-12 minutes while the color is doing its thing. Tiffany gave me “blue black”, which she said she especially loves for blondes. Don’t worry – it doesn’t look blue at all! The color looks very natural, as you will see in the before & after pictures below!

The results are supposed to last 6 weeks, which is amazing! I love the extra length it has given my lashes; I feel like I can even get away with wearing no mascara most days, and when I am wearing mascara my lashes look extra long. It’s a win-win!

I want to mention that if you wear contacts, you cannot wear them while she is doing this service, so be prepared and come with a contacts case, solution and your glasses if you are blind as a bat like me! 🙂 You can put your contacts back in immediately after she is done, or wear your glasses home. Whichever you prefer!

During the 24 hours after you get this done, you do have to be a little careful with your lashes. You can’t put mascara on during that time, and you don’t want to expose them to heat/steam (such as a super hot shower, sauna, or steam from the oven, etc.). After the first 24 hours, you can do whatever you want without worrying about them!

Before and After Pictures
The pictures on the left/top are “before” and the right/bottom are “after”! You can see how much more length I have, and my lashes are way darker, as if I’m wearing mascara!
Cost of Lash Lift + Tint
I also got a lot of questions about cost, so here’s what you need to know! The lash lift by itself is $75, and the lash lift + tint is $100. For $25 more dollars, I would definitely recommend getting the tint as well since you’re already going through the process! However, if you have very dark hair and dark lashes, you may not need the tint. Use your best judgment and/or see what Tiffany thinks when you come in!
